The Winchester 21 Sharp is a new rimfire cartridge designed to offer improved performance over the .22 Long Rifle, while utilizing the same case and operating pressure. It features a smaller, .21 caliber projectile, which allows for higher velocities and flatter trajectories. Winchester and Savage Arms have released rifles chambered for this new cartridge.
